Recent Key Developments
  • Employment of a Program Achieve co-ordinator across our cluster to work with staff and families on the theme of “We can do it”

  • First Steps Spelling and Writing program. All students have been plotted on continuums and their progress data has informed classroom programmes.

  • Purchase of new computers in computer room and for classroom use.

  • Staff in service in the SACSA Framework and Constructivism, for planning, programming and assessing.

Teaching

  • Teachers work together in both partnerships and teams, with high degrees of collaboration.

  • Play and creative activity are important parts of all class curriculum.

  • A variety of teaching and learning methodologies, which are inclusive of all student needs and learning styles and support Constructivist practice, are used. Support personnel work across whole school as needed to provide quality support.
